The Miser is back March 17th at L'Alliance New York!

We are bringing most of the original cast of our 2024 production of The Miser back together for a special reading at L'Alliance New York's Florence Gould Theater!
Don't miss your chance to revisit The Miser, Molière’s most successful play re-imagined for today's world. Using non-traditional casting choices—casting women in male roles and swapping genders—we will deconstruct The Miser’s complex power dynamics and step, once again, into a world of biting absurdity and timeless truths.
Tickets to this special event must be purchased. Use code MITP24 for a discount at checkout!
This reading of The Miser is produced by L’Alliance New York.

Meet Lucie Tiberghien

A Brooklynite since 2001, Lucie was raised in France and Switzerland. Specializing in new work, Lucie spent 15 years developing and directing new plays in New York City and all over the country. She directed World Premieres at LaJolla Playhouse, CATF, Second Stage, Rattlestick Theater, Arena Stage, Hartford Stage, Kansas City Rep, Manhattan Class Company and more. As a translator and adapter, Lucie’s work has been produced in Paris and in New York. Bringing free theater and the works of Molière to Brooklyn was a long time dream which she is thrilled has become a reality.
